PROPORTION
To achieve balance in movement. Combining form and texture is a result out of the production processes and experiments with paper. It’s a thin line and an exciting balance between controlling the material and letting the material behave following its particularities. Only then its character will manifest. - ...

COLOR
Color, while intrinsically tied to the material, remains a subjective illusion. It makes us aware of the physical value of the material and adds an emotional layer to what we see. It is through light that color discloses itself—yet light also causes color to fade. - ...

TEXTURE
Texture tells us about the inner structure of the material but tactile perception affects how we eventually feel something. And can lead to surprising experiences of touch.

CPC  & TEMPORALITY
Everything is impermanence, through my own practice and works with paper I play with the life-lenght and different stages of paper. Paper as a circular material also acts as a metaphore of how I approach my practice. Utilizing my own waste to create new works which inspires new works.
